Events & Marketing Coordinator

We're a passionate and driven team of creative professionals, and we're looking for a talented and motivated individual to join us on a part-time basis. This position offers the flexibility of remote work, with regular on-site visits for meetings, collaboration, and delivering in-person events. You will be a confident individual whose responsibilities will include liaising with the management team to organise and deliver in-person events from conception to conclusion. You’ll ensure that every event is executed to a high standard, whilst remaining cost-effective, paying attention to budget and time constraints. In addition to this you will also work with the team to deliver regular blog posts and marketing strategies, positioning us to drive the business forward.

You will be, above all, a project manager who understands marketing and promotion techniques with experience in delivering events. We need enthusiasm and attention to detail, with excellent organisational skills.

**Role Responsibilities**:

- First point of contact for guest event enquiries.
- Event planning and coordination.
- Overseeing and assisting with setting up of rooms/areas used for the event. (equipment, décor, furniture, refreshments etc.)
- Liaise with the management team to create and source marketing materials to drive sales and marketing to publicise and promote events.
- Produce and promote content in keeping with the business brand and vision.
- Hands on approach to the running of each event.
- Supervise and support teams and individuals such as runners and other front of house members during events.
- Attending weekly event meetings with the management team to discuss briefing for upcoming and past events.
- Preparing event evaluation reports and communicate actions in post event meetings.
- Flexible with days and hours, with some hybrid working if required.
- Keeping documentation up to date and ensure compliance of all visitors with health & safety and licensing laws.
- Being aware of the fire safety and evacuation procedures.

**The Person**
- Must possess high level marketing and event experience gained within a hospitality environment.
- Possess excellent attention to detail with the ability to work independently and be extremely organised.
- Able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in working to deadlines.
- Able to act on initiative and manage own tasks.
- Have excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence at all levels.
