Cinderford, United Kingdom Crossroads Gloucestershire Full time

Crossroads Gloucestershire is a specialist charitable organisation, growing over the last twenty five years to provide high-quality support services to enable people who are in need by reason of frailty, ill-health, or disability, and their Carers to lead safer and healthier lives.

The Operations & Quality Co-Ordinator plays a key part in ensuring that a quality person-centred service is being provided to individuals in their own homes and that all our care staff feel supported and are able carry out their duties safely and in line with Crossroads’ policies and procedures.

This is a varied position which will provide the opportunity to witness the skilled progression of staff from their first day, throughout their career with Crossroads Gloucestershire. You will ensure that the care service is delivered to Service Users at the times and for the duration specified in the relevant individual agreement(s) and contract standards, by an effective and accurate management of the weekly rota.

This is a full-time role, where you will work a rotating pattern of pattern of Week 1: Monday to Friday, Week 2: Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday. There is also a requirement to hold the On Call phone during their weekend to work and staff receive an enhancement for this responsibility outside of their normal working hours.

You will have a Level 3 Health & Social Care, and a need to have the ability to work flexibly, a desire to provide excellent customer service with an approachable and supportive manner, demonstrating a passion for care, as well as a desire for all care staff to achieve their potential, in an environment characterised by dignity and respect.

You will also need to hold a full driving licence, have access to a vehicle and be willing to travel around to all of Crossroads’ service users’ locations, including Gloucester and Hereford.
