**We are looking for a new Cafe Assistant to join our fantastic team**

Old School Cafe is an independent cafe established 70 years ago in Longcross, Chertsey. We sell our own brand of coffee roasted locally for us by Surrey Hills Coffee and are passionate about the taste and quality. We are also famous in the local area for our classic English fry-ups, lunches, and sandwiches.
- A friendly team player with great interpersonal and communication skills
- Eager to push themselves to deliver top class customer service
- Able to work quickly, calmly, and efficiently during busy periods
- Self-motivated to seek out tasks and uphold a clean cafe environment

**Primary responsibilities**:

- Work as part of a close knit team to ensure customers receive a great experience
- Produce fantastic coffees, smoothies, milkshakes, and soft drink orders
- Carry out basic kitchen preparation tasks and take meals to customers
- Maintain and clean café equipment

**Availability**
- This position is part time (1-2 days per week) and you must be available every Sunday
- Our standard working hours are 7.30 am to 3.30 pm with a 30 minute break
- Personal transport is required as no public transport is available

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £7.50-£11.00 per hour
