It’s with this in mind that we are excited to be recruiting for a skilled Junior CGI Artist for a 6-month contract to support us with producing product images for our new website which is currently in development.

**What we’re looking for.**

We want a positive, enthusiastic team player with a passion for all things CGI to assist the CGI team and create visual content that can be used across traditional marketing and digital channels.

You will be able to organize and catalogue thousands of images and models with a high degree of accuracy.

Someone with excellent time management skills to deliver this exciting project on time and to a high standard.

**What you’ll be doing**
- Creating 3D models from technical drawings, specifications and interior plans, rough sketches or real-life objects using appropriate software.
- Developing high quality 3D visuals of products and interior environments for promotional and sales purposes that are required to be photo-realistic and visually stunning.
- Create accurate polygonal models from 2D images and dimensions or 3D scans.
- Ensure proper source reference material (images, scans, dimensions) are provided for modelling.
- Create both high-poly and optimised low-poly models.
- Create optimised UV unwraps of models.
- Creating shaders and textures based on physical samples, scans or photography.
- Attend team meetings and assist the company to ensure projects are delivered on time.

**What we ask.**
- Degree in 3D/CGI
- Minimum 1 year experience in a similar role desired but not required
- Standard software experience (Blender)
- Familiarity with modelling process and order of use in the design process, to maximise use of software and time.
- Intermediate level at 3D modelling (polygon mesh) and computer-generated image post-production utilising render software for optimisation and increased speed of output

**Job Types**: Full-time, Temporary contract, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 3 months

**Salary**: £23,000.00 per year
