I am currently working with a local university who are looking for a Payroll and Pensions Manager to join the team on a 12-month FTC.

The purpose of the role is to support the continuous development, and delivery of in-house payroll and pensions service for their staff, Subsidiary Companies and Temps. In addition, to ensure efficient, accurate, responsive service including timely payments,legal compliance, and excellent customer service.

**Responsibilities**:

- Manage all aspects of the payroll ensuring accurate payments are made for all payrolls monthly.
- Ensure correct processing and payment of additional benefits schemes in place including childcare vouchers, cycle to work schemes as well as relevant statutory deductions including attachment of earning.
- Produce pre and post payroll reports as required and work with Financial Services on the completion and submission of annual statutory returns.
- Line manages 5 staff members in the payroll and pensions team advising, supporting, and coaching team members.
- Lead on the maintenance of the Payroll System aligning processes and procedures to ensure the effective and efficient running of the payroll and pension services.
