Our Alternative Provision facility provides 1:1 and small group delivery of our video production curriculum and structured gaming to SEN children out of, transitioning or struggling within the school environment.

**Reports to**: Provision Co-ordinator, Manchester

About the Role: Responsible for delivering individual child SEN development programs within an Alternative Provision setting. May be required to deliver or support across all services outlined above.

**Responsibilities**:

- Delivering direct learner training.
- Child progression and reporting.
- Monitoring learner progress and targets.
- Working with parents.
- Centre/equipment maintenance during Alternative Provision sessions.
- Working closely with Provision Co-ordinator and management to ensure service standards and development.
- _______________________________________________

- Experience of working with children with SEN requirements. (E)
- Experience of working with children with autism / PDA / ADHD / anxiety (E)
- Understanding of EHCP and professional child assessments. (E)
- Ability to understand the scope of individual learner specific requirements. (E)
- Confidence to positively resolve issues with learners. (E)
- Experience working with camera equipment and video production platforms. (D)
- Knowledge of video games and internet culture. (E)
- Flexibility to work overtime and cover shifts when required. (E)

**Required Skills**:

- Confident IT skills, experience using both Mac OSX and Windows. (E)
- Strong reporting and admin skills (E)
- Ability to use design software such as Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator. (D)
- Knowledge of editing software including Final Cut Pro X. (D)

**Provided Training**:

- IT systems, hardware and software used within the Academy / AP setting.
- Basic video production, video editing, media and tech training
- Service Policies and Procedures.
- Paediatric First Aid training.
- Child protection training.
- Safeguarding training.
- Autism awareness training.
- Training in de-escalation techniques & strategies for behaviours that cause concern..
- Continuous CPD and training as agreed.

**Salary**: £21,000.00-£24,000.00 per year
