Due to significant contract wins and increased business levels, GS Hydro UK are looking to recruit an Internal Sales Advisor with the following qualifications / experience.

Previous experience within a busy sales environment.

Knowledge of Hydraulic Products - Hose Assemblies, Adaptors, Quick Couplings, Valves etc.

Strong technical knowledge.

Proven track record working within the Oil & Gas marketplace.

Good communicator.

Ability to work under own initiative and prioritise workload.

Good organisational skills.

Willingness to work well within a team environment.

Quality focused with HSEQ awareness.

**Purpose of Job**:
The Internal Sales Person acts as the first point of contact with the customer, portraying a professionalism and confidence that delivers the ultimate in customer service; to build and maintain an active base to support the commercial side of the business.

**Key Areas of Responsibility**

Quoting and raising sales orders and purchase orders in line with company management system.

Following up on quotes.

Process all orders through the company computer system from initial contact through to completion.

Liaise with all other departments to ensure timely delivery of orders.

Build strong relationships with key personnel and gain a full understanding of client objectives and needs.

Provide marketing or client information that may initiate new leads.

To liaise with various carriers used for delivery to customers.

To follow and comply with all safety rules and regulations in accordance with the organisation’s Safety Manual System, at all times.

To ensure that all tasks carried out are as per supervisor’s written and verbal instructions.

To carry out all work to client and in house specification.

To ensure that all tasks carried out meet company QMS procedures.

To be fully aware of component compatibility and competent in the use and knowledge of our products.

To be familiar with all our suppliers core products we stock and sell

To be familiar with associated products that can enhance our stocked products

To work off site as and when required.

To be aware of environmental issues associated with workshop procedures.

To ensure that work areas are maintained clean and hazard free at all times.

To report any safety defects to workshop supervisor immediately.

To actively contribute to the overall team activities and promote good working practices.

To comply with GS Hydro UK personnel procedures at all times.

To be flexible in providing cover for other areas within the workshop as and when required, especially to cover absence or holidays.

To commit to continuous improvement and development.

To work overtime if requested to ensure our organisation or client deadlines are met.

Salary is negotiable depending on experience.

**Salary**: £32,000.00-£38,000.00 per year
