Transport Coordinator

Cantello Tayler Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Transport Coordinator to join our client based in Bracknell.

The successful Transport Coordinator will be responsible for:

- Planning and routing the rounds for fleet of Dustcarts and the Pick-up Vans
- Communicating with Drivers and loaders effectively and efficiently
- Dealing with the contingency process for absence and vehicle breakdowns
- Managing holiday schedules and time keeping of all Drivers
- Identifying any missed collections and ensuring they are rectified asap whilst managing the customer's expectations
- Generating reports including Pay by Weight and collection analysis, KPI data compilation i.e. mileage, vehicle availability
- Answering the telephone and handling internal and external communications courteously and efficiently

The Transport Coordinator will have:

- Experience within a Transport Coordinator/?Traffic Controller/?Planner/?Dispatcher role
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent organisational skills, meeting deadlines, planning and prioritising workloads
- Data extraction and reporting experience
- A good knowledge of MS Software, Vehicle tracking systems and Weighsoft or equivalent Waste Management software.
- Excellent negotiation skills and be effective at managing relationships at all levels
