A leading national business are looking for a committed and enthusiastic transport planner/transport coordinator to join their friendly team in Bracknell. This is a very exciting opportunity to join a business offering an excellent salary, benefits package,and realistic scope for progression.

**The Role**
- Plan and route the fleet of drivers
- Communicating effectively with Drivers/ loaders and Van drivers
- Deal with the contingency process for absence and vehicle breakdowns and absences
- Manage holiday schedules and time keeping of all Drivers
- To identify any missed collections and ensure they are rectified asap whilst managing the customer’s expectations
- Ensure activities are carried out in accordance with health and safety in accordance with legal, environmental and company policies
- Generate reports including Pay by Weight, collection analysis, mileage, vehicle availability
- Communicate effectively with customers answering queries effectively

**The person**:

- Proven experience in transport planning/logistics/distribution/transport coordination/traffic controller
- Excellent communication skills and relationship building skills
- Strong organisational skills, with ability to work to deadlines,
- Ability to plan and prioritise workloads
- A keen eye for detail
- Problem solver
