**Description**:
You’ll need a minimum of 3 years of experience, showing an ability to work with stakeholders to shape a content strategy based on user needs, craft compelling content to answer the needs of the audience, as well as being able to deploy it to a content management system. You should create content that is centred around users' needs, whilst also having experience using data and user feedback to optimise and evolve content over time.

As a Content Designer, you make things easier and better for people to understand and use. This can involve working on a single piece of content or an end-to-end user journey to help users complete their goals. You will work closely with designers and developers to ensure that content is central to the user experience and that robust content management, governance and operational processes are implemented.

**About You**
- A role within the Experience Design department requires someone to have excellent interpersonal and communication skills and work well within a team
- You can work under pressure and manage workloads effectively, as well as being highly self-motivated and well-organised
- You’re eager to learn and to be challenged, but you’re also willing to challenge your peers
- You’re someone who wants to work hard, become a core part of the team and grow with the company by taking on additional responsibilities over time

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Develop content strategies for clients that align with their short-term and long-term UX and marketing objectives
- Research audiences to establish their needs and wants, and make sure content is tailored to meet their requirements
- Engage with key stakeholders to plan and facilitate workshops ensuring business objectives, aspirations, KPIs and user requirements are understood
- Drive operational excellence across the content process, from planning and ideation to implementation and deployment
- Collaborate with other members of the XD team to plan and develop content across different interfaces
- Create and proofread engaging new content - as well as identifying areas of improvement, including optimisation for search
- Contribute to building an open and collaborative culture within the department and the design community

**Skills, Knowledge and Expertise**:
**What you need to have**:

- Proven work experience in a content role
- Excellent understanding of content design principles
- Talent in writing short-form copy for digital interfaces
- Basic technical knowledge of HTML and web publishing
- A foundational understanding of SEO and web traffic metrics, using platforms such as SEMrush
- Excellent writing skills in English, with attention to detail and the ability to proofread effectively
- Experience with behavioural analytic platforms such as Hotjar, CrazyEgg etc.

**Skills to make you stand out**:

- Experience with Figma
- Experience with creating UX artefacts such as information architectures, sitemaps, wireframes etc.
