Finance Associate

Our client is looking for a Finance Assistant to cover a fixed term contract. This is a hybrid position, working for a large reputable company who have an excellent reputation for employee engagement.
**Purpose of Role**:
To provide support to the Financial Reporting team dealing with general accounts support.
**Key Accountabilities**:
- Purchase ledger and sales ledger
- Processing daily cashbook entries
- Reconciling data to the finance system.
- Processing journals
- Manage relationships within the business as required to deliver specific role accountabilities
- Undertake one-off pieces of work in response to requests from line management
**Person / Experience Required**
- Experience within accounts administration
- Working Knowledge of Oracle Fusion (or Oracle)
- AAT Level 2 or above
- Good transactional accounting knowledge
- PC literate - Excel and Access skills essential.
- Can-do attitude, with a logical approach to problem solving
- Attention to detail, organised and efficient
- Ability to work effectively alone or in a team
- Good communication skills - both oral and written
- Pro-active
- Ability to work to deadlines
- Logical approach to problem solving
