We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Executive Assistant and Human Resources Officer to join our busy Agriculture, Construction, Dairy and Groundcare Division.

The Executive Assistant and Human Resources Officer will be required to manage the schedules and communications of the Divisional Director and his key executives. The role requires resourceful, innovative, and proactive skills to provide high quality, effective and confidential executive administration and Human Resources assistance to the Divisional Director and his executive team.

**Location**:This role will be based at our Knockdown site near Tetbury and there are also opportunities to work from home

**Hours**: Full time 39 hours a week, Monday to Friday. We are, however, open to minor variations to this pattern

**Day to day duties will include**:

- Answering and screening telephone calls on behalf of the Divisional Director
- Coordinating schedules, meetings, and appointments on behalf of the Divisional Director
- Calendar and diary management including recruitment interview scheduling
- Communicating with senior management team members
- Creating PowerPoint presentations and distributing minutes
- Communications lead - Managing information streams
- Attending meetings and taking minutes
- And general Ad hoc administrative tasks.

The role also includes Human Resource Administration including:

- Request for offer letters and contracts, new starter paperwork, depot organisational charts, holiday records, absence records, resignation acknowledgements, coordinating appraisals etc
- Minor / informal grievance handling
- Training - booking training internally and externally, maintaining training records, managing training refreshers etc
- HR project management: you will liaise with Group HR.

**The ideal applicant**:
The ideal applicant will have:

- Work experience as an Executive Assistant, Personal Assistant or similar role
- Outstanding organisational and time management skills
- Previous Human Resources Experience, preferably CIPD Level 3 or 5
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills
- Previous experience of working in an HR environment
- Full Clean UK Driving Licence due to travel involved in this role
