**Job Title: Fundraising and Monitoring Executive**

**Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday**

**Salary: Age UK NYCM Grade 3 (£23,625 - £25,725)**

**Location: Based in our Scarborough office**

**Role Purpose**:
This is a pivotal role for an emerging fundraiser keen on broadening their skill set. As a member of the Age UK NYCM team, you'll be integral in fostering growth through income generation, innovation, and collaboration. Your efforts will reinforce our mission to support unpaid carers across all age brackets.

Though there's an option for remote work, this role based in Scarborough requires direct reporting to the Chief Executive. Your primary focus will be on trusts and foundation funding, but you'll also contribute to corporate partnerships and event fundraisings. Additionally, monitoring and project success reporting will form part of your weekly responsibilities.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Identify and research potential funders aligning with Age UK NYCM's objectives.
- Craft compelling funding proposals for trusts and foundations.
- Engage with small-medium trusts and foundations to meet set funding goals.
- Update main trust and foundation supporters about the tangible effects of their contributions.
- Administer fundraising events including high-profile events and challenges.
- Manage and update supporter documentation and databases.
- Collaborate with the Finance team to ensure prompt recording, acknowledgement, and allocation of donations.
- Represent Age UK NYCM in external gatherings and discussions.
- Compile detailed reports, assessing both funding impact and overall charity progress.

**Person Specification**:

- Proficient writing skills with the knack for drafting briefing notes, research profiles, and proposals.
- Eloquent communicator, both in person and over the phone, with the aptitude to passionately discuss Age UK NYCM's projects with potential funders.
- Ability to seamlessly collaborate with the Age UK NYCM team, both physically and virtually.
- Experience with online, desk-based research.
- Proficient in administrative and IT tasks; familiarity with spreadsheets and databases is a plus.
- Demonstrated capability to work autonomously, maintaining motivation and zeal.
- A genuine commitment to Age UK NYCM's mission and values.

**Performance Metrics**:

- Meet or exceed the predetermined income targets from trusts and foundations, ensuring our capability to make significant differences in the lives of unpaid carers.
- Secure foundational funding to reinforce Age UK NYCM teams' efforts.
- Foster and maintain lasting relationships with key trust and foundation supporters.
