Following a service remodel, exciting opportunities have arisen for 2 dynamic and forward thinking physiotherapists to join the Children's Community Physiotherapy Service as a team leads.

Please note this is a 9 month fixed term post due to a secondment, but it is possible that it could potentially lead to a permanent position.

The post holder will be responsible for managing a locality physiotherapy team consisting of band 5 and 6 qualified staff and band 3 and 4 assistants, leading a clinical area, and supporting the professional lead with service development. The children's community physiotherapy service provides therapy input and support to children with long-term conditions in Oxfordshire.

They will provide advanced assessment and treatment of patients in homes, schools and clinic settings; providing a comprehensive community physiotherapy service for patients with complex health needs, formulated around evidence-based practice and recognised national standards.

This post will include opportunities for service development, research, education and teaching. We are committed to CPD and will work with you to further develop your skills and experience.

The post holder will provide specialist and highly skilled Physiotherapy assessments and intervention for children and young people with a range of needs including complex disability. This includes therapy in education settings, patient’s own homes, clinics and the wider community.
