We are seeking a Respiratory and Paediatric Physiotherapist to join our team at Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality physiotherapy services to children in critical care and the children's wards.

About the Role">
  • ">
  • The post holder will be expected to work closely with the holistic team, including doctors, nurses, occupational therapists, speech and language therapists, and play therapists, to provide comprehensive care to patients.">
  • The ideal candidate will have a broad range of NHS experience, including paediatrics and critical care, and will be able to demonstrate evidence of recent CPD relevant to clinical specialty.">
">Key Responsibilities">
  • ">
  • Assessing and treating acutely unwell children in critical care and the children's wards.">
  • Cross-covering a mixed caseload of paediatric patients across various specialties within Oxford Children's hospital.">
  • Providing cover and support to the neonatal unit for acutely ill pre-term/term infants with or without ventilatory support.">
  • Participating in the supervision, teaching, and appraisal of junior physiotherapists and physiotherapy students.">
  • Playing an active role in service development within acute paediatrics.">
  • Representing physiotherapy and/or individual patients at multi-disciplinary team meetings.">

  • ">
  • Degree in physiotherapy and HCPC Registered.">
  • Broad range of NHS experience inc. of paediatrics and critical care.">
  • Evidence of recent CPD relevant to clinical specialty.">
  • Participation in on-call respiratory physiotherapy rota.">
  • Evidence of good communication with range of MDT.">

Salary: £45,000 - £60,000 per annum (dependent on experience).
