Business and Innovation Partnerships (BIP) is the main business-facing unit within UCL Innovation and Enterprise, comprising a team of Senior Partnership Managers and small and medium-sized enterprise (SME) support specialists who work within and across key sectors to organise institutional links between UCL and business and industry. The development of partnerships with significant business and other innovation-relevant organisations in London is an essential part of the delivery of the UCL 2034 strategy, and engaging with global business, innovation organisations and SMEs, who are likely to be innovating and using new technology, is a key element of UCL’s work with businesses in London, the UK and globally.

**About the role**:

- To support the BIP team to deliver its mission and services to businesses and UCL through the provision of high-quality administrative and back-office support that enables team members to maximise their time spent on developing relationships and initiatives between UCL academic staff and key business partners

**About you**:

- Provide general administrative and project support to the Business and Innovation Partnerships (BIP) team in UCL Innovation & Enterprise to assist with efficient and effective management of key business relationships and projects. This will include but is not limited to:

- Making travel and conference bookings for staff
- Managing team budgets and obtaining budget approvals for the team Director and reporting on spending
- Making bookings such as catering and rooms for staff events
- Raising purchase orders and processing invoices
- Undertaking other activities such as scheduling meetings, advising the team on expenses submission, and setting up Eventbrite meetings
- Supporting the Director and Line-Manager with ad hoc requests
- Leading on the submission of quarterly financial claims to Innovate UK and invoices to each company partner for each KTP project. This involves liaising with many internal stakeholders and administrative staff at the funder, answering queries and quality-checking financial reports
- Carrying out general administrative and finance duties relating to KTP projects. Being the first point of contact for finance and administrative queries from multiple internal stakeholders and the funder about the KTP scheme
