Outpatient Team Leader

This role will be based at our new Medical Diagnostic centre and will support the Clinical Matron and the Clinical Services Manager in providing safe and effective care to the patients within LivingCare outpatients services. As a Registered General Nurse (RGN) they will provide expert advice to the clinical teams and promote excellence in clinical practice by participation of research and audit processes.
Working in a multidisciplinary manner they will support the Clinicians and Consultants, Nurses and HCAs in formulation and implementation of policies, guidelines and protocols, thus ensuring we are adhering to best practice guidelines.
The Team Leader will support the rest of the nursing team by way direct line management including mentoring, coaching and leading by example.
**Main duties of the job**
This role will be a blended position with both clinical and non clinical duties, working in collaboration with other Team Leaders within the department.
**Main Duties**:
- Providing clinical sessions supporting patients within the department.
- Leading and directly line manage the outpatient staff team, providing guidance support and on the ground problem solving and trouble shooting.
- Management responsibilities include completing 1:1s, return to work meetings, appraisals and team meetings.
- You will prioritise individual and team development, providing support, on the job training to get the most out of the team.
- We will support this individual as part of the wider management team and you will be expected to attend relevant meetings and contribute to the future development and progression of the department.
- **The successful person must be willing to train towards becoming a Specialist ENT Nurse.

**Salary**: £31,000.00-£40,000.00 per year
