We are working with a global organisation, with a large footprint here in the North East who are looking to recruit a Infrastructure Engineer. This role forms part of a team of 4 specialists. **Title: **Infrastructure engineer (Server specialism)
**Location**:Sunderland - 2/3 days in office and home - Hybrid working

**Hours: **37.5- 9-5 as core but with flexible hours around
**Salary: **Up to £45,000 basic + paid on-call allowance, (1 in 4/5 weeks)

**The Day to Day**:

- As a key technical resource you will possess expertise across various data centre and cloud services
- Provide technical assistance and guidance as required in BAU and Project workstreams
- Responsible for providing effective and efficient utilisation of resources to sustain the systems and services required to meet customer expectations and requirements
- Provide technical consultation on current and proposed Window systems.
- Help resolve errors in the Windows Server landscape
- Help the team configure, maintain, and administrate Windows equipment
- Maintain Service Level Agreements (SLA) surrounding incidents and requests
- Act as a technical escalation point to the tier two support team for incidents and service requests when required
- Build processes, procedures, and documentation to ensure high quality customer support

**Key Requirements**:

- 3-5 years experience in infrastructure support
- Experience helping to manage the estate of virtual and physical servers hosted in the Azure Cloud, Private Cloud and on-prem environments
- Experience supporting, installing and modifying all versions of Microsoft Server 2008-2019
- Experience in installation, configuration and maintenance of active directory services
