We are currently recruiting for an experienced Electrical Infrastructure Manager to join our team on-site with a major automotive supplier. As an Electrical Infrastructure Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the electrical infrastructure of the manufacturing facility meets the needs of the business.

This position is based at our client's site in Sunderland and can be offered on either a contract or permanent basis. The estimated annual salary for this role is around £55,000 - £70,000, depending on experience.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Designing and developing electrical infrastructure to meet the needs of the business.
  • Implementing control software and performing verification using simulation tools and real-time test environments.
  • Liaising with suppliers to source the most effective hardware or software solutions in line with the business's needs.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A degree/HND/HNC and/or 5 years of relevant experience in Electrical/Control Engineering.
  • Professional experience in PLC programming, including Mitsubishi, Siemens, and BECKHOFF platforms.
  • Experience in structured software programming to a recognised standard in LDR, ST/SCL, and FBD logic.
