**How you'll make a difference**:
The Performance and Information team is critical for the collection and analysis of producing statutory statistics across Social Care and Education. As the Reports and information Co-Ordinator you will make a difference by working closely with colleagues using your technical knowledge in improving the report and information recording capabilities of the department. You will be the one to identify and recognise the best practices, product options to further strengthen our Performance Management framework.

**What you will be doing?***
- Daily you will be working closely with Performance Managers and Operational colleagues to develop reports in line with operational and strategic requirements, through using your systems and technical knowledge
- You will produce and develop reports via our SQL and PowerBI systems, in order to satisfy existing and evolving requirements of the operations teams, to enhance our reporting suite to support service delivery and statutory functions.
- You will identify best practice, product options, enhancements and internal practice improvements, you will recognise, promote and support the implementation of enhancements across our main Social Care and Education systems.
- You will have substantial contact and interaction with staff at all levels across the council

**What we need from you**:

- We require you to be educated to degree standard, preferably one with statistical or significant numerical and/or computing content, or with substantial experience in a similar role
- You will be able to demonstrate advanced report writing knowledge of SQL or other relational database languages, with advanced-level experience in using reporting and analytical software such as PowerBI (or similar) and high-level Excel skills
- You will be require to have experience of developing performance reporting in a complex environment including effective engagement with users and senior managers ideally in local government or a Health setting
- You must also have significant experience in analytical skills and techniques, including the manipulation of large amounts of statistical data from complex databases
- You will have well-developed communication skills and credibility to be able to effectively bridge the communications gaps between end users of our reports, and the technical roles which meet them.
- You will have a knowledge of the performance priorities of the operational divisions across the CAH department, including the requirements of their respective inspectorates and central government departments, as well as a sound knowledge of Information Governance and data sharing policy and practice.
