Volunteer Trainer

**Overview**
We are seeking a dedicated individual to join our team as a Volunteer Training Assistant. You will help us source training for our volunteers and Trustees, and assist in the delivery of training when required.
This is a varied and exciting role which includes the development of team training activities for our whole team meetings.
**About us**
We are a not-for-profit policy organisation which is responding to homelessness. Based in the UK, we exist to tackle the causes of homelessness. Through a network of "Satellite Hubs" and volunteers across the country, we work to make services more accessible and efficient to those who need them now and in the future.
The Cardon Banfield Foundation exists to help individuals and families try and prevent homelessness or, if it cannot be prevented, make sure it does not reach crisis stage.
**The role**
Using our Skills Audit Matrix as a reference, you will search for training courses, videos, eBooks, Podcasts etc. to meet the needs identified in the Matrix. Other duties:
- Research relevant training
- Lead on organising the delivery of training
- Collate and implement feedback from attendees
- Produce quarterly reports on attendees and outcomes
- Be aware of legislative updates that are relevant to the Foundation or its work
**What skills will you need**
We are looking for someone with 1 or more years experience in finding, organizing and co-delivering training, particularly in the charity sector. Teamwork is crucial but you must be able to work independently too.
- Effective communicator
- Good time management and keeping to deadlines
- Research skills
- Experience in charity training
- Tuned into charity legislation/policy updates/homelessness (desirable)An able communicator
- Social media experience, desirable
- Working remotely as part of a team
