**About us**

**Role and responsibilities**
- To proactively engage in day-to-day training and complete the R Costings training schedule to equip you to carry out the role of a Junior Court of Protection Costs Draftsperson
- Preparation of Bills of Costs; to include serving and issuing within the detailed assessment process
- Liaising with clients and colleagues
- Ultimately, owning your own caseload and progressing cases through the Assessment process with full trainer support
- Identify issues early on, on matters which may affect costs recovery and flagging these with the relevant person internally
- Managing and adhering to KPI’s and targets throughout the year and attending monthly 1-2-1 (weekly during training)
- Understanding the assessment process and ensuring optimum client care is provided at all stages

**Requirements**:

- GCSE Maths and English Grade 5 (new structure) Grade C (pre-2019 structure) or above
- Commitment and dedication to embark on a career in the Legal Industry
- Personable and friendly, with a strong desire to be part of a team
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Great problem solving skills

**Preferred skills**
- A background in the legal sector although this is not mandatory
