Perinatal Pelvic Health Administrator

Would you like to work for a small, dynamic new team working to improve perinatal pelvic health?
We are a team of midwives and physiotherapists working with women and birthing people to improve pelvic floor health in pregnancy and beyond. We are passionate about our project and improving pelvic health, and are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to provide administrative support to our team, based in the Royal United Hospital.
You would also be part of the wider project across Swindon and Wilshire, each with their own local team working to create a service across the Bath, Swindon and Wiltshire area.
Provide a high standard of administrative and clerical skills to promote an effective and efficient administration service
Provide accurate, timely, proficient information in a professional manner in accordance with guidance and protocols thereby ensuring effective communication.
Contribute to multi-disciplinary and team working practices
Retrieve and store confidential clinical information on patients from internal and external sources, in a timely and professional manner in accordance with guidelines thereby contributing to an effective service
Protect all confidential information in accordance with the Data Information
(Protection) Act and Caldicott
Ensure that the principles of Modernising Maternity Care remain the focus of care
Prioritise workload in accordance with clerical duties. These include gathering statistical data, sorting, and distributing the post, photocopying, ordering supplies, making patient appointments, entering data on to the patient information systems and telephone communication duties.
Prioritise workload in accordance with requests
Act as a point of contact for staff and patients, providing a telephone service
Respond to enquiries with discretion and sensitivity, ensuring adequate response or obtain adequate information for the enquirer, responding accordingly.
