**Hours: Full-time, Permanent (40 hours per week - Monday to Sunday with sleeps on a rota basis)**

**Our next Senior Residential Support Worker will be someone who has:**
- **Mandatory**: Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare or NVQ equivalent
- At least 1 year’s hands on experience in a similar residential environment.
- A big heart and passion to make a difference to the residents’ lives.
- Understanding that the people we care for can be challenging.
- Patience, resilience, and calmness.
- Become the “go to” person for help, support and guidance with their everyday needs.
- Willingness to learn not only about the people we support, but the ins and outs of Children’s Residential Care.

**The Opportunity**

Acorn Education and Care, are recruiting Senior Childcare Workers to join our teams within the Staffordshire region.

The Ferns is a registered Children’s Home providing care and accommodation for up to four young people of any gender aged between 6 years to 17 years on admission. We will provide accommodation for children and young people with Social, Emotional and Behaviouraldifficulties and we will also consider children/young people with mild/moderate learning disability.

The home is based in Rugeley and is within commutable distance from Cannock, Litchfield, Stafford and surrounding towns and villages.
