Team Leader Children's Home

**Responsibilities**:

- Ensure the safety and wellbeing of the children and young people in care
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to provide optimum delivery of day-to-day care
- Act as a Key Worker where designated and contribute to the child or young person’s plan
- Be aware of children’s rights and work in an anti-discriminatory and anti-oppressive manner
- Develop and maintain good working relationships with parents, social workers, school staff, and other professionals
- Attend and contribute to childcare planning and review meetings as appropriate

**Requirements**:

- Level 3 Diploma for Residential Childcare or an equivalent qualification
- Minimum of 6 months experience working with children with emotional behavior difficulties
- Satisfactory enhanced DBS check and satisfactory references

Terms and Conditions:

- Probationary period of six months
- 20 days annual leave plus bank and public holidays
- Flexible working hours including weekends, evenings, sleep-ins, and bank holiday workings
- Membership of the Workplace Pension Scheme

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £25,230.00 per year

Licence/Certification:

- NVQ Level 3 in children and young people (required)
