New Business Executive

The focus for this role is creating, nurturing and delivering the pipeline of net new business growth opportunities for Assembly in the UK and Europe. You will play an important role in all areas of prospect outreach co-ordination and pitch management. Your eye for detail, fantastic organisational skills and ability to collaborate with stakeholders at every level will support a growing and passionate Growth team.
Ultimately this role should make a significant contribution to the lead generation pipeline, pitch conversion and annual revenue targets for the agency.
**Reporting to**: Growth Director
**The New Business Executive takes responsibility for**:
Lead generation & qualification
- Project manage and deliver prospecting campaigns and supporting event activities
- Collaborate with Marketing team to amplify prospecting campaigns
- Produce assets which can be used to showcase Assembly’s credentials and case studies with prospects, intermediaries and potential clients
- Keep abreast of the marketing landscape - competitor activity, new biz, and marketing news
- Own and manage Knowledge Bank of up to date credentials, RFI responses and case studies
Pitch process
- Own internal tools and collateral management, including SharePoint system
- Owning and delivering some stages of our tender output - for example initial RFI responses and supporting other teams to do this where needed
- Assisting with pre-pitch, pitch, and post-pitch tasks e.g., researching prospective clients, sourcing and purchasing presentation equipment and pitch props
- Liaise with teams across Assembly global markets and Stagwell Inc to request support as required
Reporting
- Ensure that Salesforce new business reporting is accurate and up to date, so that we have a view of our in year pipeline and conversion stage on a weekly basis (minimum)
- Ensure Growth team activity tracking is accurate and up to date, so that we have view of status across our pipeline and initiatives
Team support
- Manage pitch calendars and project timelines, including diary management
- Organise conference calls, meetings, travel, accommodation, lunches with consultants/industry contacts/prospective clients etc.
- Book & set up of meeting rooms and diary co-ordination
- Expenses, binding, photocopying, printing, invoice management
**Requirements**:
- Some experience in a related field within account management, client services, sales or marketing experience would be advantageous, although not a strict requirement
- Excellent PowerPoint and written communication skills
- Highly organised and able to rapidly respond to requests
- Strong project management skills
- An eye for detail
- Able to respond positively under pressure
