**Management Accountant**

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic Management Accountant to join our busy accounts office team in the heart of the Cotswolds Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.

**Requirements**:

- Strong maths and English skills/qualifications required
- Proficient in Excel
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to process information quickly and accurately
- Excellent communication skills (written and oral)
- Ability to establish good internal and external relationships
- AAT Qualification to a level 3 preferred or Qualified by Experience
- Previous experience of Xero preferred
- At least 2 years’ experience in a similar role preferred

**The Role**

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team of professionals as a Management Accountant.

You will have the following routines and responsibilities in this role:

- Supporting the Financial Controller in preparing the monthly management accounts to trial balance stage, in our Xero Accounting package including:

- Fixed assets and depreciation
- Trade debtors
- Extracting and posting sales data from specialist sector software
- Reconciling intercompany accounts
- Prepayments
- Checking bank reconciliation
- Trade creditors
- VAT Control Account and Preparing VAT Returns
- PAYE & Payroll Accounting
- HP Control Accounts
- Accruals
- Raising ad hoc sales invoices
- Purchase Ledger Invoice Processing
- Petty Cash Reconciliations and Preparing Cash Floats
- Collation of data for monthly Payroll Processing by our third party payroll company
