Customer Support Apprentice

Our client works with local schools and provides football classes for children. They are looking for a customer support apprentice to join their team. This opportunity would suit someone who is confident, social, and motivated to learn.
The Customer support apprentice will handle all incoming enquiries and will involve being the first point of contact for current and potential customers, starting by making calls to people who have shown interest through our Facebook page.
**You shall be based in their central London office.**
**Responsibilities**
- Taking incoming calls, being the first point of contact for potential customers
- Having first-hand knowledge of our services
- Booking students for a free trial lesson at our centres
- Responding to incoming leads in a timely and professional manner
- Responding to our website users through our live chat feature
- Dealing with customer issues and complaints
- Responding to failed payments and cancelled memberships
**- **After gaining experience in the role, the apprentice will begin to handle more complex situations, such as incoming complaints and cancellations, with a view to advance into sales
**Desired Skills/Attributes**
- Excellent communication and writing skills (fluent English)
- IT skills - You’ll need to be comfortable navigating a laptop on Google Sheets, Google Docs, and Gmail. We’ll train you on everything else.
- Confident Organisational skills - you’ll be dealing with lots of people and enquiries, so you’ll need to always stay organised.
- A helpful attitude - customer service is about helping people. For this role, you must be customer-focused and know how to show empathy.
- Initiative thinking - Able to find creative solutions to problems and taking the initiative to go above and beyond.
- Dependable: Reliable, trustworthy and does what they say they will
- Passion: Truly loves what they do and is proud to let people know
- Work Ethic: Never lets a minute go to waste.
- People-orientated: Sociable - has a good understanding of human behaviour and knows how to adapt.
- Team Player: Willing to sacrifice for the greater good of the team
**Desired qualifications**
- English & Math GCSE’s or equivalent Grade C (4) or above.

**Salary: £11,400 per annum (Increasing to £13,300pa after April 1st)**
**Full Time: Monday - Friday, 9am - 6pm**
