High Level Summary

The Securities Services Associate is part of the Check Replacement Team and plays a key role in ensuring check replacement requests in the business are processed accurately and timely.

Essential Functions/Responsibilities
- Pulls and reconciles daily check replacement reports
- Researches and resolves out of balances
- Processes daily check replacement and wire requests accurately and timely within SLAs
- Manages special handling requests from shareholders and other departments
- Escalates time sensitive and large exceptions to management appropriately
- Works with IT to resolve file and system issues effectively to manage risk
- Provides training and answers daily production questions as needed
- Leads and/or participates in production improvement efforts
- Leads and/or participates in department projects as assigned
- Provides back-up support to other departments as appropriate

Education Requirements
- High School diploma or higher

Experience Requirements
- 2+ years of experiences in one or a combination of the following: customer service, operations, financial services, accounting, business processing, analytical, financial, or clerical

Skills and Abilities
- Excellent typing and 10-key skills
- Strong attention to details and accuracy skills
- Intermediate Microsoft Office Skills
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Effective organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills
- Ability to work independently, proactively, and creatively while exercising sound judgement
- Solid problem solving skills
- Strong time management skills
- Must be able to effectively read, write and speak English.
- May require the need to travel to other locations.
- Willing and able to work extended hours as needed.
