We have a great opportunity for a motivated and enthusiastic **Customer Service Advisor** to join our team at **Jewson Partnership Solution Newcastle (NE6 1AQ)**

This role is working with **JPS Newcastle** as part of the **STARK Group.** We are a leading building materials distributor in Northern Europe. We connect suppliers of heavy building materials with the professional craftspeople who build, renovate, and maintain the cities of tomorrow.

**Is this role right for me?**

As a Customer Service Advisor this role has a strong focus on Sales and Warehouse management, as well as supporting in other areas of the branch, so this role is great for someone who loves to build relationships with their team and customers and enjoys an active and varied fast paced role.

**The person we’re looking for will have**:

- Flexible approach to work; happy to work in various departments within the branch
- Ideally have had experience within the construction/building materials industry (although not essential)
- A confident communicator, both over the phone and in branch
- Previous forklift experience desirable (training can be provided)
- Preferable experience of working on a trade counter.
- People’s person with a strong relationship building ability
- Must be well presented and a hardworking, team player
- Driven, enthusiastic, hungry and lots of self-motivation
- Ambitious, looking for progression and wants to make a career for themselves
- Computer Literate (Microsoft Office)

**Working Hours: Monday to Friday 7:30 - 5PM (No weekend)**

**Your day to day duties will be to**:

- Dealing with customers on the trade counter in a friendly and efficient manner
- Processing orders, purchasing stock and taking stock levels
- Prepare quotations and follow up on them
- Maintaining high presentation standards in the working environment ensuring it is always kept clean, tidy and presentable
- Accurately and efficiently identifying and picking stock to fulfil customer orders
- Maintain stock levels and regular stock checks
- Pick items to fulfil customer orders
- Assist in the loading of operatives vans and serving
- Unloading of supplier vehicles using a FLT where needed (training provided)
- Check incoming stock deliveries and put away in appropriate areas
- Learning products and processes in order to deliver a great customer experience
- Make Health & safety a priority and keep yourself and others safe at work
