**Fixed term - Approximately 16 months
The Psychology Department in the School of Philosophy, Psychology and Language Sciences is seeking an LBC Study Coordinator on a full time, fixed term post for approximately 16 months.

**The Opportunity**:
The Lothian Birth Cohorts are a research group based in Psychology with the overall aim of understanding how our brain and thinking skills change throughout life, and why some people's brains age better than others.

The key responsibilities of this post are to coordinate work plans and task allocation to ensure project goals are met, maintain ongoing communications with participants, coordinate team members with regard to ongoing data collection and undertake primary analyses of date and write up papers in collaboration with the study PIs.

The post holder will work with the Knowledge Exchange & Impact Officer to engage in knowledge exchange with funders and stakeholders. They may co-supervise graduate students and teach on relevant MSc courses where appropriate.

**Your skills and attributes for success**:

- Appropriate degree, with relevant post-graduate research experience in Psychology or a related discipline. Normally a PhD or equivalent professional qualification and/or relevant experience.
- Knowledge of cognitive testing, especially of older people, according to standard operating procedures to a highly reliable level.
- Experience of multivariate statistical analyses with cognitive data.
- Proven experience of working within a clinical environment, to established protocols and procedures, where established scientific methods are translated to project/data processes
- Demonstrable understanding of research planning and procedures for large scale, multidisciplinary studies across research sites and stakeholders
