**For a Communications and Administrative Assistant for Imbue Ventures, we are looking for someone**:

- To build relationships with parents, guardians, and organisations and to ensure excellent communication between them and Imbue Ventures, both individually and collectively,
- To establish and maintain excellent communication throughout the Imbue Ventures community, internally and externally,
- To ensure the pastoral care for students is of the highest quality through a focus on the well-being of every child,
- To ensure the maintenance of good order and conduct at all times when students are in our care,
- In co-operation with our Centre Manager and Deputy Centre Manager, to develop and review the values of Imbue Ventures and to implement and then monitor - the effectiveness of policies and procedures intended to achieve these aims and values,
- To ensure Imbue Ventures complies with all statutory and regulatory requirements, and strictly adheres to GDPR,
- To develop and sustain good relationships with other organisations, schools and to explore positively further cooperation for mutual benefit,
- To develop and maintain contacts with other professional associations and other appropriate bodies, for the benefit of Imbue Ventures..

**Skills Required**:

- Strong communication skills, can communicate effectively with staff, parents, pupils and visitors
- Proven team player
- Excellent attention to detail
- Highly organised with the ability to juggle competing demands
- Organised and accurate - complete complex administrative tasks with mínimal supervision
- Articulate - excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Reliable and work accurately under pressure
- Good time management skills
- Someone wishing to work in a non-traditional education setting.
- Previous experience in working with people with vulnerabilities, including but not limited to special educational needs and/or Social, Emotional and Mental Health.
- Awareness of Safeguarding policies and procedures.
- The ability to work co-operatively in collaboration with colleagues to ensure effective systems are in place to benefit the students.

**Who we are**:
We have just opened a pioneering tech based learning hub in Derby to support individuals between the ages of 8-25 years, we cater for all abilities and capabilities.

Our main focus is on creating an inclusive environment for all, including individuals with SEND/SEMH, delivering specific programmes and activities to target people with a range of abilities. We provide regular workshops, one to one training and practical experience. We strive to inspire our students to learn through our Imbue Experience, using coding/programming, technical repairs/diagnostics and design/creativity with our 'Game Education' approach.

We also offer courses that work towards awards and accreditation for our young adults and young people who wish to push themselves further, and provide work experience opportunities to support individuals to move into employment and education.
