**Job Description** Role**:Recipe Developer

**Location**:London, Shepherds Bush

**Employment Type**:6 Month FTC

**About the role**

Recipe Developers are responsible for leading the delivery of key strategic food launches that keep customers coming back for more. They are established members of the food team and they are passionate about developing innovative and exciting recipes into our key food pillars.

**Recipe Development**
- Support the Food team through NPD, delivering recipes to expand our library as well as end-to-end ownership of key strategic launches and projects
- Follow our Recipe Development Process, ensuring all development gates and requirements are adhered to
- Concept recipes to a brief and budget incorporating target customer, range criteria, nutritional guidelines, seasonality and business constraints
- Use recipe popularity, customer feedback and all other Gousto data that we have available to inform recipe development for both NPD and EPD
- On hand to show support to the wider team to deliver the best recipes possible, through helping with recipe writing & structure
- Recipe Developers are not afraid to feedback on the work of the team around them to ensure we are delivering consistent excellence to our customers
- Be a part of driving increased creativity & innovation in the team through researching trends in new cuisines, ingredients and healthy eating
- Be creative to get the best out of our ingredients and budgets, avoiding unnecessary ingredients to keep costs low without compromising on quality
- Deliver outstanding easy to follow recipes including step photos, written method, and recipe description, all validated by our thorough checklist process
- Follow recipe card conventions for methods, naming and formatting and influence changes to these as our product evolves
- Act on customer feedback, redeveloping recipes to make them even better
- Have a good working knowledge of company systems, and procedures and be confident to challenge, improve and evolve them

**Qualifications** Who you are**:

- Experience in managing a team, ideally in the food industry
- Strong interest in food
- Good Excel / G-sheets and data analysis skills.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- You must have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and be able to juggle multiple tasks at the same time.
- Strong attention to detail and obsessed with quality.
- Collaborative / stakeholder management skills.
