**Reports To**: Andy Matthews - Head of Delegate Sales
**Location**: London
**Workplace Type**: We ask all employees to work a hybrid schedule, with a minimum 2x/week in their local office, plus 1 Friday per month. We welcome employees to utilise office space more than that where possible.

**The Role**
This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious and commercially minded individual, who is looking to kick start their career in sales. **Responsibilities include**:
Working across our portfolio of events, you will be responsible for securing delegate places from new and existing clients. Our events are held in key locations worldwide, so you will be selling across international markets.
- Making between 40-60 outbound calls a day to senior procurement executives
- Managing prospect interactions by collecting and researching background information on companies/institutions
- Actively source additional leads
- Gaining other sales from referrals
- Identifying further sales-opportunities utilising the Procurement Leaders portfolio of products and services
- Prioritising, managing and reporting opportunities and sales
- Providing any other assistance necessary in support of the sales and operation strategies
**Requirements**:
- Ideally 1 year of sales experience (within the events space preferred)
- Self reliant and driven individual that can set a goal in sight and work towards it
- Motivation to work to and exceed targets/kpis
- Resilience and reliability
- Occasional international travel may be required
This opportunity offers a base salary of £28,000 with OTE of £40,000
