We are seeking a talented and motivated Sales Order Processing Team Lead to join a leading multi-national business with a standout reputation in it's specialist field. As the SOP Team Lead, you'll lead a small team and have the opportunity to work both on site and remotely.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the UK HQ sales order team
- Review contracts for completeness, compliance, and accuracy
- Translate contracts information and upload projects into Access Focal Point
- Raise internal purchase order requests for multi-site projects
- Work collaboratively with Business Unit Directors and Project Managers to ensure relevant monthly revenue recognition and invoicing activities are undertaken across all projects
- Assist Project Managers by providing relevant reports and analysis
- Ensure project revenue recognition and project completion are recorded and signed off accordingly for audit purposes
- Trigger invoicing requests in a timely manner
- Process orders as part of the team
**Requirements**:
- Numerate and comfortable with complex order and contract workings
- Proficient in Excel with good working knowledge of other MS Office packages
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent organisation skills with strong attention to detail
- Good stakeholder and relationship management skills
Preferred:
- Multiyear experience in a relevant role within a fast-paced department
- Further education qualification in areas related to the role
- Access Dimensions or other medium/large company ERP system
- Knowledge of revenue recognition principles
