**Customer Service Support Officer**

**A new opportunity to work within a customer service role whilst making a difference to people’s lives. You will be the first line support for our Care Workers and Service users. This job will keep you on your toes with no two days being the same, we are looking for a flexible and dynamic individual to support our CQC ‘Outstanding’ organisation.**

Abbots Care is an award-winning domiciliary community care provider in Hertfordshire with a CQC rating of outstanding. Within the role as a Customer service Support Officer you will be providing support to our service users and care workers, you will be resolving day to day issues and providing solutions for these. You will be the first point of contact for any contacting Abbots Care so will deliver our outstanding customer service to everyone. Supporting a range of teams including our Payroll team to verify call logs.

**The role**:

- First point of contact for our service users
- Monitoring our electronic monitoring system to ensure we all calls are completed in the agreed time slots.
- First line of support to our care staff in the community.
- Maintaining and updating relevant records and spreadsheets
- Verifying and logging calls for our payroll team
- Other associated support duties.

**Person Specification**:

- A strong customer service background
- Experience of working in a faced paced environment and flexible.
- Strong attention to detail and be a completer/finisher.
- A team player with strong interpersonal skills.
- Able to commute to and from our main office in St Albans
- Flexibility to complete on call duties

**Desirable Experience**:

- Experience within the care sector
- Customer service/ Care Qualifications
- Holding a full driving license and access to your own vehicle.
