We are looking for an operations trainer with a passion for helping our people to excel at their duties and unlock their potential. Working collaboratively with our operations departments, you will assist them in delivering customer service excellence by living our values through everything you do.

You should have real life experience of the full training cycle from TNA through to course design, delivering and evaluation. Working in an operations environment will include Health & Safety training, as well as our essential operations training relating to our warehouse and production facilities. Included in this training will be Counterbalance and Reach Truck training and assessments.

**About the role**:
Responsible for:

- Provide training and support for all Mandatory and Manual Handling Equipment use, including initial and refresher training as well as assessments.
- Managing the training schedule for Operators, Team Leaders, and Supervisors in collaboration with the Shift Managers.
- Partner with the Training Teams, Training Co-Ordinator, and Support Teams to define and deliver developmental training and group requirements.
- Work with the Manager and Support Functions to provide support with accident investigations, and corrective actions/recommendations.

Accountable for:

- Ensure our Operations Teams, Team Leaders and Supervisors attain a high standard of technical skills relating to operations and Health and Safety compliance.
- Manage and maintain training records, and training matrices using our Learning Management System.
- Support new starters ensuring they receive first class onboarding and ongoing training support (if required) through their probationary period.
- Keeps up to date with all training, current legislation and best practices attending training and development as required and updating all their training material to reflect the changes.

**What experience do you need to have**:

- Must have worked in a training/support role within an operations function
- Has delivered training to others in the workplace or in a classroom environment
- RTITB or ITSSAR qualifications would be desirable
- Mandatory training knowledge (Manual Handling, H&S Awareness, MHE etc) would be desirable
- Can create training material from scratch
- Can carry out Training Needs Analysis would be advantageous
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to adapt their behaviour to the situation
- Can provide clear demonstratable objectives, adapts the training to the needs of the individual
- Be able to prioritise and organise your own day to meet business demands

**Hours of work**:
Monday - Friday, 8.30am - 5.00pm, some flexibility required

**Contract Type**:
Permanent, Full Time

**Salary**:
£32,000 - £36,000 per annum, depending on experience
