Training Administrator

We are currently recruiting for a Training Administration to join our warehouse operation. This is a newly created role to support the leadership team with keeping accurate records relating to the control of staff training records, managing risk assessments, safe systems of work documentation, legal compliance and all administration activities associated with a typical training function.
We manufacture soft drinks from one of the most up to date, technologically advanced factories in the UK and our business has grown significantly over the years. To support the ongoing needs of the department the administrator's main role will be to record and monitor digital and paper-based training records. They will also perform training duties in classroom and ‘shop floor’ settings.
It would be advantageous it they had knowledge of a variety of disciplines from within a warehouse, manufacturing or FMCG setting.
They will need to be capable of demonstrating ‘best practice’ when supporting training needs. They will need to be able to demonstrate strong interpersonal and exceptional organisation skills to assist in the delivery, recording and monitoring of training and compliance.
The responsibilities of the role will include:
- Liaising regularly with the warehouse managers ensuring they are aware of any gaps in compliance, training, safe systems of work and risk assessments.
- Assisting managers in the training and delivery of induction programmes for new starters. This will include classroom based training and in operational settings.
- Provide support to warehouse managers to ensure all team members are signed off against relevant documentation and training.
- Create and collate training packs for new starters.
- Ensuring that all relevant warehouse staff have up to date training files and zero training gaps. Including that all relevant documentation is stored appropriately and is accessible by relevant people for legal compliance.
- Ensuring that processes are in place to capture any overdue or late tasks or training.
- Track and assist in the creation of new Risk Assessments and SSOW, COSHH assessments and the revision of existing ones.
- Maintaining the Departmental Register of Risk Assessments, Standard Operating Procedures and Safe Systems of Work ensuring that registers are complete, up to date and in good order.
- Assisting Supervisors and Managers with the completion of accident investigations, and where necessary, delivering training to improve the quality of investigations.
- Reinforcing a positive safety culture by issuing and monitoring the Company’s and Departmental safety measures including Near Miss tickets.
- Support all requirements for Audit and customer visits.
