National Timber Group are seeking to recruit an HR Administrator, based in Northallerton, North Yorkshire to join and support the national HR Team.

**Duties will include**:

- Provide administrative support to the HR team.
- Support the HR team in the delivery of its service, demonstrating a ‘can do’ attitude and adopting a flexible, resilient and resourceful approach.
- Take a solutions focused approach to departmental challenges working in a continuous improvement manner, responding innovatively with new ideas and develop current approaches to meet departmental administrative needs.
- Work in accordance with all relevant legislation, policies, procedures and guidelines both internal and external
- Participate in HR projects.
- Assist in the provision of business support to the HR team including day to day tasks such as document creation, using Excel spreadsheets, use of HR system - UKG Ready (training will be provided), electronic filing, distribution and communication of information.
- Act alongside the HR team as a point of contact for line managers/employee enquires and respond or refer to enquiries.
- Assist in the administration of the recruitment, selection and induction processes.
- Assist in administering the starter, leaver and changes process to ensure all teams have accurate and relevant information.
- Support learning and development and meeting events including room bookings, equipment and administration.
- Assist with HR related projects.
- Assist in maintaining the electronic filing systems.
- Act as an effective HR team member providing assistance to others as required.
- Be aware and familiar with policies and procedures and act according to them.
- Undertake any other reasonable duties as may be required commensurate with the level of the post.

**Hours, salary and benefits**:

- This is a full-time role 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday 8.00am to 5.00pm
- Salary £23,000 to 26,000 dependent on skills and experience
- Six weeks’ holiday per year including public Bank holidays, increasing to 6.6 weeks after 5 years' service
