Dietetic/admin Assistant

Would you like to have a role in supporting the role of the dietitians in promoting Nutrition and Hydration to inpatients at Salford Royal Hospital within critical care setting?

The role will involve patient facing work but also administration tasks to support the dietetic team such as data collection/management and preparing transfer/discharge paperwork.

The role has a degree of flexibility around when the hours can be completed across the week. Familiarity with the in-patient setting and electronic patient records will be advantageous as is knowledge around the importance of adequate nutrition and hydration in health and recovery.

**Main duties may include but are not restricted to**:

- collection of nutrition intake information from patients and/or ward staff
- collection of patient data from different electronic systems/patient families/GP surgeries
- support of nutritional intake at mealtimes
- preparation of transfer/discharge paperwork to support ongoing adequate nutritional intake in patients
- maintenance of stock levels of dietsheets, feed samples within department
