Salford, United Kingdom Northern Care Alliance NHS Foundation Trust Full time

The Salford Community Dietetic Team is based within the Salford community at St James House. The team currently consists of 7 dietitians, two dietetic assistants and two admin staff and covers the dietetic requirements of patients living in their own home or in a Care setting (intermediate or permanent).

As the Community Dietetic Team is part of the wider Dietetic Team based at Salford Royal, integrated care across the hospital and community settings is a key part of our service. Additionally we work closely with partner organisations within the Salford footprint to raise awareness of the importance of adequate nutrition in achieving and maintaining health.

As part of the wider dietetic team there are many opportunities available which are not always possible in smaller community teams such as cross speciality working, audit/QI/research opportunities as well as supporting student training.

You should have good post registration experience of working as a Band 5/6 with existing skills in supporting dietetic patients within the community setting. In particular experience of Home enteral feeding is required and a good general knowledge of a wide range of dietetic conditions.

If you are a motivated, compassionate and dynamic person who is able to use your own initiative, be flexible in your approach, and are inspired to be part of a developing service, come and join us.

We are a Trust committed to innovative practice, audit and research opportunities, what better way to further your career
