Dietetic Assistant

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic, hardworking individual with good organisational skills to join the National Care Alliance, Salford Care Organisation Community Dietetic Team, as a Dietetic Assistant.

We are a friendly and supportive trust-wide team, providing a comprehensive dietetic service. Your role would be to support the dietitians in providing an excellent, high quality service and helping the dietetic service run smoothly.

Previous experience in a similar role is not essential as training can be provided including an apprenticeship in Healthcare if desired. Familiarity with electronic patient records will be advantageous as is some knowledge around the importance of adequate nutrition and hydration in health and recovery.

The successful applicant will have a positive attitude, a flexible approach, excellent communication and time management skills, and the ability to liaise effectively with a wide range of staff, patients and the public. You will be happy working over different care settings, have access to a car, and have a good working knowledge of IT based systems.
