**Job summary**:
The Campaign Support Officer plays an important role within the Home Office’s Digital, Data and Technology Directorate (DDaT). This role is part of the Optimus Programme People Initiative. Optimus is a multi-year programme transforming DDaT to ensure we can deliver the Home Office vision for technology and data enablement.

Optimus is shaping DDaT to be more effective, connected, responsive, consistent and efficient.
The Optimus Programme is aligned with the One Home Office themes and ambitions and is an important enabler of more consistent and simplified ways of working across DDaT. Optimus will ensure DDaT has the capability to work collaboratively with stakeholders across the Home Office to deliver technology objectives, improve staff experience, strengthen in-house capability, better protect the public and deliver better value for money for the taxpayer.

In this role, you will provide support to the People Initiative team and wider DDaT colleagues to help increase civil servant capability through successful end to end recruitment.

You will report to the Senior Business Manager (SEO) and on a day-to-day basis you will be responsible for putting recruitment campaigns live via direct access to the Home Office vacancy management system, proactively managing all aspects of the campaign and responding to all campaign operational queries and issues, providing clarity, guidance, direction and timely resolution as required.

Individuals in this role will need to understand their clearly defined work area (administration for recruitment activity including arranging interviews and logistics, obtaining further information, processing documents and answering standard queries). To successfully deliver they will need a general understanding of the context they are operating in and the impact of their own work; for example, they will need to understand the wider Civil Service resourcing function, Home Office business areas and geography (where they are drawing on the business to support recruitment).

Note: An employee may be required to carry out other duties within the scope of the grade and within the limits of their skill, competence and training.

**Job description**:
Your main day to day responsibilities will be:

- Supporting the planning and mobilisation of recruitment campaigns live, making them live via direct access to the Home Office vacancy management system and proactively managing all aspects of the campaign through to completion
- Actioning any urgent or escalated queries in a timely and professional manner
- Responding to queries and issues relating to the operations of any campaign, in a timely manner, providing clarity, guidance, direction and escalating queries and issues as required.
- Working flexibly to support the delivery of DDaT recruitment campaigns across the Accelerator Cells.

Other day to day activities

You will also be expected to carry out the following day to day activities:

- Contributing regularly to reporting and management information dashboards to report on progress against plans and savings targets.
- Maintaining and updating team information pages and resources on internal platforms, such as SharePoint

Hybrid working enables employees to work partly in their workplace(s) and partly at home. A hybrid working pattern may be available, where business needs allow. Applicants can discuss what this means with the vacancy holder if they have specific questions.

**Person specification**:

You will have the following skills or proven experience:

- Having the ability to multi-task and prioritise workload and balance demanding workloads
