We are looking for a dynamic, innovative, and committed individual to join us and work as part of our Single Point of Access Team to deliver improved access and outstanding services for children and young people. You would be joining a friendly nurturing team and who work in a fast-paced service. You will need to hold a professional qualification and be from a strong community mental health background, ideally with experience and knowledge of children’s services.

To develop and provide a high standard of care for all accessing CAMHS SPA.

To provide evidence based, first line telephone intervention(triage, signposting, risk assessment and advice giving.

To consider mental health risk assessment for all contacts made to SPA.

To assess the competing priorities and respond in an appropriate and timely way.

To demonstrate the flexibility to manage competing priorities.

To contribute to the triage of new requests for service, adhering to service criteria, alongside guidance from the Senior SPA Practitioner and SPA Operational lead.

To participate in clinical meetings, case conferences and professional meetings as required.

To compile written reports as required and to generate and maintain accurate treatment records.

To monitor and evaluate the service provision and support the provision of reports as required.

- A qualified professional with core clinical qualification with passion and drive for developing your clinical skills in a changeable environment
- A keen interest in new and upcoming technologies within CAMHS
- Be self-motivated and able to work autonomously as well as showing initiative and promoting new ideas on how to improve the service
- Be compassionate, caring and creative with excellent communication skills
- A flexible and positive attitude with a willingness to accommodate our 24/7 service
