Reception Team Leader

Job Introduction
**We are extremely excited to be recruiting a** **Reception Team Leader** to join our Rapport team, based at our new client’s offices in the City of London. Some of the duties would involve utilising a robust mobilisation plan and coordination of resources, recruitment requirements, training plans, technological solutions, communication plans (and more) to successfully mobilise the guest services operation at the office-led development, **40 Leadenhall London.** The uniquely designed space is crafted for forward-thinking companies, people, and ideas.
**This would be the perfect opportunity for the Reception Team Leader to support the Guest Services Manager and set their footprint by building and leading the front-of-house team that can provide a warm welcome and a “WOW” experience to all key stakeholders, while supporting with the mobilisation and ensuring the highest level of client care.**

**_This is a permanent, full-time role (40 hours per week), working Monday to Friday._**
**Main responsibilities**
- Assisting the Guest Services Manager with the smooth operation of services and deputising in their absence
- Taking personal ownership and responsibility for the standards of service delivered by the front-of-house team
- Continuously engaging with the team to ensure high levels of productivity
- Supporting the front-of-house team with the day-to-day operations
- Exceeding client and guest expectations by actively promoting a client-centred environment and regular coaching sessions with each team member to promote core operational standards
- Actively encouraging client and guest feedback and driving change that enhances services provided, maximising technology and innovation in the process, and communicating best practice across the team
- Supporting the Guest Services Manager and being involved in HR-related processes when required (e.g. recruitment and retention, disciplinaries, etc.)
- Supporting the Guest Services Manager in enforcing company standards relating to people, policies and procedures, ensuring compliance to legislation and all people matters are managed fairly

- Be experienced in stakeholder management, including client, team and peers
- Be able to create immediate Rapport with key stakeholders at any level
- Have excellent communication and leadership skills
- Be a proven leader who is enthusiastic about continuous development of the team and the self
- Have a vibrant personality who can act with integrity, highly organised, with a can-do attitude and passion for delivering high standard service
- Have great interpersonal skills and a natural ability to positively influence business decisions
- Be able to work well under pressure and have the ability to be proactive and act with intuition
- Have at least one year of Reception Team Leader experience in a five-star hotel or corporate environment
