**The role**
We are looking for an individual with excellent Romanian and or Hungarian language skills individual to join our haulier team to support with building and strengthening our supplier relationships across Europe. Whilst previous experience in a similar role wouldbe desirable it is not essential.
In our Folkestone office we specialise in European road freight forwarding and with our own HGV trailers we can provide a comprehensive logistics service to all our clients.
Due to the nature for the role it is essential that you have strong verbal and written language skills in both English and either Romanian or Hungarian to enable you to communicate fully with both new and existing suppliers.
Key responsibilities include:
- Finding new suppliers to serve us on key lanes
- Building relationships with new and existing suppliers
- Obtaining rates from suppliers for regular and ad-hoc routes
- Selling loads to suppliers ensuring profitability
- Holding regular performance reviews with main suppliers
We offer a competitive starting salary starting from £20,000 dependent on experience.
We are open Monday to Friday 8am - 5pm. We are a really friendly, professional and collaborative team and are looking for someone who shares the same values as we do, supporting us to deliver the very best for everyone we work with.

**What you’ll be able to offer**
- The ability to speak English and an Eastern European language is essential (Romanian or Hungarian would be desirable)
- Experience of working in a haulier/transport role for a freight forwarding company desirable
- Outstanding communication and customer service skills
- The ability to develop and build strong and personable relationships over the phone and in person with a broad range of individuals
- The ability to work in a fast-paced environment and be a strong team player
- Accountability to yourself and others
- Extremely organised with a high attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work well under pressure and able to work to tight deadlines
- High IT literacy skills
