Freight Account Manager Role

Location: Folkestone, England

Salary: £38,000 per annum, negotiable based on experience

Job Type: Full time Permanent

We are a leading logistics company providing freight solutions globally. Our mission is to provide efficient and bespoke freight solutions, ensuring a hassle-free experience for our customers.

The successful Freight Account Manager will be responsible for managing existing client relationships, developing new business opportunities, and driving revenue growth. They will work closely with our operations team to ensure seamless execution of customer shipments.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients to increase sales and retention
  • Identify new business opportunities and develop strategies to drive growth
  • Collaborate with the operations team to deliver exceptional customer service and on-time shipment execution
  • Monitor and report on sales performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as needed

Requirements:

  • Proven track record in account management or sales within the logistics industry
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
