Freight Forwarder

**Hybrid Working - 3 days in the office 2 days working from home**

My client is looking for a **Freight Forwarder **to join their team If you have previous experience as a **Freight Forwarder**, and are looking to join a **reputable company**, then LOOK NO FURTHER

Duties include:

- Plan all activity for collections and deliveries across Europe based on customer requirements
- Plan collections and deliveries (European) based on customer requirements
- Communicate with other planners and offices to maximise use of vehicle positioning
- Liaise with Subcontractors on journey times/logistics
- Maximise earning’s negotiating rates with customers and Sub-contractors
- Minimise empty running
- Maximise gross profit on all work carried out
- Quote new business opportunities presented by Commercial teams 9. Discover new business opportunities
- Manage invoice queries with international accounts admin to ensure data accuracy
- Maintain customer database and price/fuel matrices
- Maintain customer KPI’s where applicable
- Record non compliance within jobs for both haulier and customers
- Customer visits with commercial if required.
- At least two years experience in a Freight Forwarding position within the Logistics industry
- Experience working for an organisation that Transports temperature controlled freight is preferable
- Strong attention to detail
- Extensive logístical knowledge
