As a Specialist PSI Practitioner you will be an integral part of a community based, rehabilitation female recovery home that supports individuals in early abstinence-based recovery to develop resilience, wellbeing, and the capacity to live successful and fulfilling lives free of active addiction. You will also support the implementation of a therapeutic program of psychologically informed groups and wellbeing activities within our housing model. You will be an intrinsic member of the therapeutic team within the housing model delivering group and 1-1 sessions with residents utilising your skills and a motivational approach to behaviour change.

Working within a Psychologically Informed Environment you will lead on and deliver the groupwork programme to individuals residing in the project and the provision of both opportunistic and structured interventions. You will also be supporting individuals and families through their specialist recovery and family coaching models.

You will be required to work flexibility to suit the needs of the business and will be on a paid ‘on call’ rota to cover evenings and weekends.
- **What you will be doing**_
- Leading on and delivering a range of structured groups and opportunistic psychosocial interventions to prevent relapse or promote sustained and improved wellbeing. You will also cover the Thrive programme at times.
- Developing and maintaining excellent working links/partnerships with community agencies and resources, including supported housing providers & treatment agencies.
- Working closely with Housing Project Workers and other professionals to ensure risk is managed and outcomes maximized for the individual.
- Delivering structured and ad hoc psychosocial interventions in both 1-1 and group settings.
- Ensuring that the programme supports outcomes in a range of domains including harm reduction, wellbeing, social connectivity, employment, self-management, self-care, and psychological flexibility.
- Maintaining excellent case records and utilise case management and data collection tools.
- Leading on establishing and maintaining strong relationships within our service and with community partners
- **Some of the skills, knowledge and experience you will have**_
- Professional qualification in trauma therapy, clinical supervision, counselling, or other relevant qualification.
- Experience of delivering holistic support to women with specialist needs such as talking/creative therapies.
- Experience of delivering psychotherapeutic groups to those contemplating change and sustained changes in drug and/or alcohol use, criminal behaviour, and social functioning.
- An excellent understanding of boundaries and risk.
- Problem solving and decision making skills.
- Effective communication skills.
- Experience of developing partnerships and working collaboratively with other organisations and individuals.
