We have an amazing new opportunity, for a Purchasing Assistant to join our Commercial team at our Grimsby site.

**The role responsibilities**:

- Ensure systems are maintained to reflect agreements and purchases made - communicating any un-forecasted changes with the wider business
- Working closely with other departments; including product sourcing, pricing, technical data, bid support and new product development.
- Support inbound supply chain from forecasting to delivery
- Work with Technical & Production colleagues & other key stakeholders to resolve any day-to-day challenges which may arise
- Maintain appropriate stock levels - managed at SKU level, taking in to account lead time & seasonality
- Maintain good relationships with key suppliers and customers
- Adhere to and promote a business wide quality culture awareness
- Track orders and ensure timely deliver of products
- Review quality of purchased products for audit purposes
- Highlight potential issues, lack of stock to senior manager asap

You will be passionate about purchasing, have good attention to detail, remain calm when working to tight deadlines with excellent communication skills. You should be able to multi-task and love working within a team environment.
